  • Field work might be required, including oversight of subcontractors.
  • Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
  • Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
  • Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
  • Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.

  • US Citizen, for access to DoD project sites. Sponsorship for this role at this time and in the future will not be available.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline and (10) Ten years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Experienced with CERCLA and environmental science principles, including site assessment and characterization, remediation, risk assessment, environmental chemistry, etc.
  • Extensive DOD and CLEAN Experience in Hawaii and Guam.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Professional registration
  • Master’s Degree in environmental engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and preparing technical reports.
  • Must successfully pass preemployment background check and motor vehicle records check.
  • Candidate must possess current 40-Hour HAZWOPER and Supervisor certifications and be able to meet the medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination.
  • Demonstrated experience with Client and Regulatory interactions
  • Ability to successfully obtain a DBIDs pass to gain access to any required federal military installation site locations.
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
  • Knowledgeable and experience working on State of Hawaii, Department of Health TGM, SCP, and local environmental regulation.
  • Excellent skills in written and spoken communication (including polished client presentation skills), organization, time management.
