Tasks

-Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard. -Manage plant and equipment, ensuring regular inspections and maintenance are completed, and defects are reported promptly. -Use a tablet device to access documentation, record progress, and confirm job completion. -Carry out excavation and installation of ducting and cable infrastructure as part of a small team.

What You Bring

-Strong safety awareness, including conducting risk assessments and using appropriate PPE. -Demonstrate full competence in civils operations and NRSWA-related activities. -Experience working near live utilities and understanding associated risks. -Competent in using smart devices for accurate record-keeping and reporting. -Full, clean UK driving licence (including towing entitlement) -Solid understanding of highways construction and willingness to work in all weather conditions. -First Aid Certification -Proven experience in a similar role within the utilities sector, ideally electrical. -NPORS/CPCS Dumper Ticket -Strong commitment to safe working practices and adherence to company procedures. -NRSWA Accreditation -Must be based in the Berkshire area and able to commute to the Reading Depot. -Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues. -NPORS/CPCS Excavator Ticket
