Participates in pre-design project activities, such as site assessment, site plan review, and verification of as built conditions
Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others
Produces construction documents under the supervision of a Professional Engineer while coordinating with other disciplines (e.g., Structural, Electrical, Process etc.)
Develops projects in compliance with engineering codes (e.g., ASME B31.3), standards, principles, relevant specifications, and contractual requirements
Perform site surveys, as built and material take-off (MTO)
Participates in services during construction, including responding to RFIs, shop drawing and submittal review, site observation, preparation of field-issued sketches, participation in construction meetings, and preparation of preliminary and final punch lists, and as-built drawings
Incorporation of preliminary thermal expansion of piping and locate guides and anchors to provide to the piping engineer for evaluation
Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts
Develops Piping Systems construction documents using architectural and equipment background layouts and system performance requirements defined by the project leadership team
Coordinate and lead a team of designers in multiple High Value Engineering Centers
Participates in interdisciplinary review and checking of project deliverables
Mentor mid-level designers on project teams
Develop Piping List (i.e., Line, Valve, Specialty & Tie-in etc.)
