The supervisor will ensure a safe working environment for installation crews at various construction sites and will follow Otis’s Safety, Ethics and Quality guidelines. Responsibilities include installing new elevators, overseeing modernization projects, and conducting quality inspections throughout the lift installation process.
The role requires close collaboration with the sales team during pre‑bid meetings, site readiness assessments, and customer handovers, both internally and externally. The supervisor will manage a portfolio of commercial and residential lifts, aiming for timely handover with positive margins while coordinating with internal stakeholders such as the factory, finance, and field engineering departments.
Leadership duties involve managing a team of commissioning engineers and field partner groups, as well as maintaining strong relationships with builders, architects, owners, and government inspectors. Effective communication and proactive, self‑starting attitude are essential for successful customer interactions.
Candidates should hold a BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering and possess five to six years of relevant experience, preferably in an elevator company, with demonstrated team‑handling abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills.
