What you would be doing

- Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and
- Assisting with remedial engineering design, construction, and operations;
- Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;
- Following instructions and interacting with engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, office administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors and construction personnel.
- Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
- Conducting fieldwork (up to 80%) such as soil and groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and drilling and contractor oversight following training;
- Assisting with geologic/hydrogeologic calculations using computer-based technical tools;

- Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, oral and written communication, and problem-solving skills. (preferred)
- Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
- Position may also require health and safety training for working in the field as part of our corporate Health and Safety procedures.
- Local travel or driving to project sites as needed.
- Upper division (e.g. senior) or Master’s enrollment. (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office. (preferred)
- Currently registered in a Bachelor’s or Master’s university degree program in an applicable field. (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory driving record for business travel to project sites. (required)
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team. (required)
- Degree focus areas in hydrogeology, geology, geochemistry, or environmental science. (preferred)
