Follow all OSHA and Daikin Applied safety policies and procedures
Perform maintenance of commercial boilers and associated equipment including logging operations, adjusting combustion, annual service, rebuilding equipment, cleaning heat exchangers and proper lubrication
Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner
Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld
Maintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks
Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and factory training. Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets
Lead the rebuild and retrofit of commercial and industrial boiler, burner, and combustion controls systems. Direct technician Levels I and II through hands-on demonstration of the necessary steps and procedures
Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to boilers, burners, combustion control systems, DA an surge tanks, pumps, valves, and actuators
Analyze boiler and combustion trend data to ensure optimal performance
Interact with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call. Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Perform warranty service application by inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality of equipment and components

Factory Certified Training, Online Training Courses, or other professional on the job training in the HVAC Industry

EPA approved Universal Technician Certification required, as necessary
5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
