In this position you will own inbound‑qualified opportunities from the first engagement through to close and beyond, driving momentum with high‑intent and lower‑intent leads through structured discovery and tailored demos. You will retain ownership of each new customer, work with Customer Success Managers to identify cross‑sell and license expansion opportunities, and also nurture a portion of the existing customer base.
Sitemate builds mobile‑first digital tools that replace spreadsheets and paper for construction and industrial companies, helping them capture, organise, and analyse information to deliver projects faster, safer and more sustainably. Backed by Blackbird, the company has achieved strong product‑market fit and is scaling quickly.
You will manage a high‑velocity inbound funnel where lead intent varies, run multiple sales cycles while maintaining Salesforce hygiene, and navigate complex stakeholder environments in construction and engineering. Day‑to‑day activities include discovery calls, live product demos, pipeline updates in Salesforce, collaboration with SDRs and CSMs, and occasional travel for face‑to‑face client meetings.
The ideal candidate thrives in a commercial environment, enjoys uncovering and delivering customer value, and can handle multiple deal cycles while creating momentum with busy operational stakeholders. This role is not suited for those who prefer a slow‑moving account‑management focus, see commercial interactions as purely transactional, or rely heavily on high‑intent leads without proactive outreach.
Required skills include strong prioritisation, SaaS enterprise sales experience, a growth mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively. Familiarity with built‑world landscape knowledge is a plus. Essential tools are Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, while bonus tools such as Front, Slack and Loom are also used.
The remuneration package includes an OTE of A$240,000 (incl. Super), comprising a base salary of A$144,000 and a commission component of A$96,000. This competitive, performance‑based package is complemented by equity options.
