The Director of Investments will report to the SVP of Asset Management & Investments and will lead the execution of investment strategies for third‑party and co‑investment mandates. Responsibilities include partnering with internal teams and clients to shape acquisition, disposition, and asset‑allocation plans, cultivating brokerage relationships to source opportunities, conducting thorough analyses, and overseeing underwriting, valuation, and deal execution. The role also involves preparing investment pitches, mentoring the investments team, managing client communications, and collaborating with Business Development and Investor Relations.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and an MBA or advanced qualification in finance, real estate, or a related field, with a minimum of seven years in a senior commercial real estate investment role. Experience in commercial development and multi‑family investment is an asset. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and collaborator, proactive in generating new ideas, resourceful, analytical, strategic, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities while working under deadline pressure. Occasional travel may be required.
