In this role you will make contact with the person or persons who are responsible for hiring the company to clean and repair the damage caused in the fire or flood. That person may be a homeowner, a facilities manager or a representative from a management company, so the ability to talk to a wide range of personalities is key. To excel in this role, you must be able to empathetically walk the prospect through the process, so they will see you as a partner they can count on.
To succeed in this role, you must have energy and the drive to go the extra mile. At least one year of outside sales and cold calling is required, along with the empathy to counsel property owners through the trauma of a fire or flood and the ability to close the sale on the spot. The job requires 24/7 availability to respond whenever a fire occurs, and a background in insurance (adjusting and/or producing) is preferred.
This position will allow you to interact with both commercial and residential property owners. It is a high‑adrenaline sales role that puts you right in the middle of the action and offers the potential to grow into a sales leadership position as you continue to build on success.
As an E.R.C., you will receive a base salary plus a lucrative commission program, with compensation varying by experience level. The company provides a vehicle, gas card, EZ‑Pass/Toll Tag, laptop, smartphone and all necessary tools for success. Benefits include fully paid medical insurance, optional dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and more. Base pay ranges from $48,000 to $75,000 per year.
