Master's degree in Business Management, Aviation or a related field of study
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and may provide consultation on complex projects as a top-level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Minimum of ten years of experience with complex systems engineering and/or testing efforts
Combat aircraft certification
Understanding of the ITAR processes for military equipment sales and support
Active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
Experience with DoD program management practices, reporting, quality guidelines, and financial management
Experience and qualification in the employment of combat aircraft(s).
Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
Experience managing multi-million dollar DoD programs
Demonstrated success in working with diverse teams of Aviation professionals, Foreign Military Sales Programs, US State Department and analysts and business development professionals
Requires Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent such as the Government’s Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III PM Certification.
Very Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of large complex DoD programs that support foreign military aviation sales, development and modification of aircraft, training and sustainment mission support
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Experience as a F/A-18 Instructor pilot
Ability to cultivate and sustain excellent long-term customer relationships including Allied Nation’s Military Officers
