Business Development Manager

Description

As a Business Development Manager you will drive sustainable growth for CMW Geosciences across Western Australia’s construction, infrastructure, energy and mining sectors. Working closely with technical leaders and regional teams, you will identify market opportunities early, position CMW on major projects and convert them into long‑term, high‑value client partnerships. The hands‑on, relationship‑focused role also includes managing and expanding an existing client portfolio with an established pipeline of work.

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with CMW’s growth objectives.
• Identify, pursue and secure new opportunities across Perth and Western Australia.
• Build, maintain and grow strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Manage key accounts and identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities across service lines.
• Track market trends, upcoming projects and competitor activity.
• Represent CMW at industry events and networking opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven ability to win and grow new client relationships in construction, engineering, mining, infrastructure or energy.
• Minimum 5 years of business development experience with a track record of success.
• Strong commercial acumen to identify and convert growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Confidence working with technical professionals and senior internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, self‑driven approach with strong organisation and follow‑through.
• Current Australian work authorisation at the time of application.
