2+ years of experience with general trade skills for siding/roofing/metalworking or assembly
High school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree
Accurate use of measuring devices including squares and tape measures
Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment
Operation of hand and power tools

This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment. Dogwood Industries is seeking an Assembly Specialist to join our team. A successful candidate is someone who can efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials, in accordance with plans and specifications, as directed by others. The candidate must be able to understand written and verbal instructions while following drawings and work instructions. While the individual will work with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components; a successful candidate will have experience in carpentry or roofing, material handling, mechanical assembly, and maintain a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping.
Ability to select the proper tool for the tasks and ensures proper operation
Ability to follow instructions and execute assigned duties
$25.00 - $33.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
