- Process data, create deliverables, and collaborate with teams across multiple offices
- Use Trimble SX10/SX12 total stations, R980/R12i GNSS, and TSC5/TSC7 data collectors
- Pushing and pulling equipment
- Support transportation projects for WisDOT and local governments
- Perform both field (one-person crew) and office survey tasks

- Use of a computer, keyboard, mouse
- Lifting, or carrying, of a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Certified Survey Technician (CST) Level 1 or higher
- Valid driver's license, ability to travel, including overnight, if needed
- Computer literacy, including use of relevant communication software
- Understanding of the WisDOT transportation design process
- Professional Land Surveying (PLS) License or ability to obtain in the future
- Excessive standing
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
- Experience with WisDOT fieldwork and deliverable creation
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Travel throughout Wisconsin Southeast region
- Trimble Business Center experience
- Experience working with robotic and GPS field survey equipment
- Walking five (5) miles or more in a day on a construction project site on uneven terrain
- Associates degree in Land Surveying or a related field
- Occasional travel with overnight stays
