Battery Test Engineer / Technician

Description

• Monitor tests and equipment performance to ensure tests execute without interruption
• Maintain and update test stand design and documentation as needed for test needs
• Analyze test execution to verify proper test operation
• Support test analysis and reporting, as required
• Monitor and maintain test equipment safety and reliably
• Operate multiple test stands and battery systems, locally and remotely, for characterization, verification, specification, or other development purposes
• Develop software test scripts according to test plans and procedures to execute automated tests

Requirements

• Familiarity with source code control tools, such as Github
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related field
• Experience working in a high-tech laboratory setting
• Comfortable with laboratory equipment, such as data loggers, multi-meters, power supplies, etc
• You must possess the following skills and experience:
• Driven problem solver, self-starter, and committed team player
• Excellent communication, documentation and technical writing skills
• Familiarity with task management and reporting tools, such as Jira, Confluence
• Solid experience with Python
• Familiarity with interpreting schematic diagrams
