Description

• Lead conversations about risk, opportunities, and value-adds during bid planning.
• Work closely with operations and delivery teams to develop smart pricing strategies.
• Prepare clear, detailed breakdowns of materials, labour, and subcontractor costs.
• Ensure accurate handover to delivery teams—no surprises.
• Leverage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to stay ahead of pricing trends.
• Own the estimating process from reviewing tender docs through to final submission.
• Use your practical knowledge (and our data, tools, and SMEs) to build realistic and competitive costs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in estimating software and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A trade or tertiary background in electrical, ideally with HV or commercial project exposure.
• Experience estimating in civil infrastructure (roads, rail, utilities, or heavy industrial).
• Be a confident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities and your time effectively
• An ability to work with a range of different stakeholders, ensuring strong collaboration and communication throughout the delivery of the projects
