You will collaborate closely with project managers, commercial teams, designers, subcontractors, and Defence stakeholders to ensure robust planning, accurate progress reporting, and successful project delivery.

• Support project managers with scenario planning, sequencing strategies, and resource forecasting.
• Facilitate planning workshops with project teams and supply chain partners.
• Work with bid teams to produce tender programmes and planning methodology.
• Coordinate with design and commercial teams to ensure programme accuracy and feasibility.
• Monitor site progress, update programmes, and provide early warning of risks or delays.
• Ensure planning processes comply with VINCI standards and MOD security requirements.
• Produce progress reports, dashboards, and critical path analyses.
• Develop detailed construction programmes for refurbishment and new-build Defence projects.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Planner to play a key role in delivering refurbishment and new-build projects across a diverse range of MOD sites. Working within a secure and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project programmes from pre-construction through to completion.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience as a Construction Planner within refurbishment and/or new-build projects.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and collaborative working practices.
• Proficiency in planning software (Asta Powerproject, MS Project or similar).
• Experience working on secure, complex, or live-site projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and constraints.
• Previous experience within the MOD or Defence sector.
• SC clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
