The role offers the opportunity to engage in landfill design, master planning, and long‑term waste management initiatives, providing hands‑on experience from design through permitting and implementation.
- Design landfill cells, closures, and leachate collection, treatment, and disposal systems.
- Support development of gas collection systems, groundwater monitoring networks, and stormwater controls.
- Participate in permitting, master planning, and financial analyses such as cost estimating and rate studies.
- Prepare drawings, technical reports, and permit applications under guidance of senior engineers.
- Contribute to project modeling, data analysis, and field reviews for regulatory‑compliant solutions.
- Assist with quality control to ensure deliverables meet company, industry, and client standards.
- Communicate project progress to supervisors and meet assigned deadlines.

Candidates must hold a BS in Engineering from an accredited institution and be registered as an Engineer Intern. No prior experience is required, though a one‑year internship or a master’s degree is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is necessary.
