The Property Manager, Multifamily at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for maintaining communities to a market‑ready standard while delivering a high level of service and motivating high‑performing teams.
In a fast‑paced environment the manager oversees all operations, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control and audits, while providing superior customer service to residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals and profitability.
The role involves completing lease and renewal paperwork to company standards, tracking advertising effectiveness, analyzing competition, and developing creative marketing programs, as well as recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching on‑site staff across leasing, customer service, maintenance and management.
Key competencies include effective communication, strong customer service, computer literacy with Microsoft Office, bookkeeping, sales skills, goal setting, team supervision and the ability to lead by example while upholding Cushman & Wakefield’s mission.
Preferred qualifications are a bachelor’s degree and a real‑estate license, with at least three years of property‑management experience and three years of management experience required.
The position operates in a professional office setting with standard equipment, requires regular travel up to 15%, and involves physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing stairs and lifting up to 25 lb.
