The position provides high‑level technical project leadership and guidance for the administrative, commercial, and technical components of high‑voltage electric power projects, including transmission, substation, and distribution. Responsibilities cover overall performance of moderate to large, regionally scoped projects, overseeing financial, technical, client satisfaction, quality, safety and schedule aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
Key impacts include leading the planning process from initiation through design, engineering, procurement, construction, outage planning, testing, commissioning and close‑out; managing project metrics such as cost, schedule, risk, procurement, environmental and safety; identifying and securing new business through client development and negotiations; and supervising cross‑functional teams across multiple concurrent projects while ensuring rigorous technical reviews and ethical decision‑making.
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or a related field (or equivalent experience) and at least ten years of experience managing large‑scale high‑voltage electric power projects, especially transmission and substation work. Candidates must have a solid understanding of utility technical systems, proven ability to lead large teams, experience in marketing and client presentations, and a strong safety record.
Preferred qualifications include an essential project management certification such as PMP or CAP‑M and a master’s degree in engineering. Relocation assistance is not available.

The expected salary range is $130,000‑$205,000, with compensation determined by experience, qualifications and geographic location.
