Mentor and support two junior estimators in the team
Prepare clear and accurate sales estimates for tenders and proposals
This is a rare chance to work across both Sales and Production estimating in the one role — something that is usually separated in larger builders. You’ll work closely with Sales, Design, and Construction, supporting tenders and proposals while also delivering accurate BOQs and costings through to site.
Liaise with suppliers and trades to secure competitive pricing
Assist the Estimating Team Leader by reducing workload pressure
Produce detailed BOQs for the Construction team
Maintain and improve estimating systems and processes
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Learn both Sales and Production estimating in one role — rare in the industry
Confident communicator with strong mentoring skills to support junior team members
Strong background in Production Estimating; Sales Estimating experience ideal (or willingness to learn quickly)
Minimum 3-7 years’ experience in estimating within residential construction (project homes preferred)
Proficiency in estimating systems (Client Manager, Databuild or similar) and MS Office
Mid-level role with scope to step up and take on leadership responsibilities
