Install telematics system and devices on vehicles, construction and heavy equipment, and customer assets
Operate machinery for testing during installation
Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics
Perform installations ranging from basic power/ignition/ground to complex custom wiring harnesses accessing CAN networks
Identify and resolve problems, analyze information, and develop alternative solutions
Travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards within the region for installations
Advocate for the EquipmentShare platform and brand on job sites
Occasionally work outside business hours and on weekends

Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools
Experience in related fields such as electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, mobile electronics installer, automotive electronics technician, or 12V technician
Willingness to learn; prior telematics experience not required (training provided)
Own tools (some specialty tools provided)
Excellent attention to detail and clean driving record
Ability to travel within a 250‑mile radius up to a week at a time
Physical ability to drive, maneuver in tight spaces, lift >25 lb, bend, squat, and walk long distances
Clean‑shaven for certain worksites and pass a 10‑panel drug screen and background check
