The General Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks assigned by the Facilities Operations Manager, including assisting with extra workload and supporting tasks within the Data Center. Responsibilities include non‑critical infrastructure preventive maintenance such as door hardware repair, painting, drywall repair, ceiling and carpet tile replacement, vehicle maintenance, installation of non‑critical hardware, material movement, roll‑up door and dock‑lock repairs, replenishing spill kit materials, and basic infrastructure repairs.

Previous experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is also preferred.
The role requires strong verbal and written communication, exceptional time management, and the ability to prioritize work in a fluid environment. The candidate should embrace a team‑based mentality, maintain focus under pressure, exhibit a ‘can‑do’ customer service attitude, attention to detail, follow instructions, adapt to changing priorities, read mechanical/electrical manuals, and safely use hand and power tools.
The position demands the ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, as well as lift at least 60 lb, reach, grasp, push, pull, smell, talk, hear, and see both near and far with color discrimination.
