Familiarity with compliance program design, audits, or internal investigations.
6+ years of legal experience, including direct regulatory, permitting, or administrative law experience.
Familiarity with applicable regulatory frameworks such as NEPA, CEQA, CAA, CWA, FERC, DOE, EPA, or equivalent depending on jurisdiction and sector.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Clear, concise communicator capable of advising both technical teams and senior leadership.
Prior in-house counsel role at a company operating under a complex regulatory framework.
Working knowledge of administrative law and regulatory litigation processes.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with ability to synthesize technical and legal information.
Demonstrated experience interacting with government agencies or preparing regulatory filings, audits, or applications.
