The role focuses on identifying, analyzing, monitoring and mitigating operational, technical, interface and compliance risks related to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) under an Ashghal Performance‑Based Contract. Responsibilities include managing risk registers, conducting assessments, defining mitigation plans, and ensuring risk integration with programme, cost, quality, HSE and operational controls.
- Identify and assess operational, technical, interface, and compliance risks for ITS assets under Ashghal PBC.
- Develop, maintain, and update project risk registers in line with Ashghal risk management requirements.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including probability‑impact analysis.
- Define, monitor, and implement risk mitigation, contingency, and corrective action plans.
- Track high‑risk and emerging risks, reporting findings to the Risk Manager.
- Support compliance with Ashghal KPIs, contractual obligations, and audit requirements.
- Participate in risk workshops, emergency preparedness drills, and readiness reviews.
- Coordinate with ITS engineers, O&M teams, subcontractors, OEMs, and Ashghal representatives.
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and submissions for client review.
- Ensure risk considerations are integrated with programme, cost, quality, HSE, and operational controls.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, ITS, Systems or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum five years of experience on infrastructure projects with strong ITS exposure.
- Proven experience on Ashghal projects or large government infrastructure contracts in Qatar.
- Hands‑on risk management experience across ITS design, installation, integration, testing, commissioning or O&M.
- Strong understanding of Performance‑Based Contracts (PBC).
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and reporting tools.
- Experience working on strategic highways, tunnels or RMC operations.
- Familiarity with Ashghal systems such as QPRO, Maximo and KPI reporting frameworks (preferred).
- MMUP/UPDA certification (preferred).
