Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

Perform preventive and repair maintenance on building systems and equipment

Tasks

-Attend work and safety meetings as required -Utilize CMMS systems such as MAXIMO for all work performed. -Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner -Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. -Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. -General interior maintenance – hang pictures, painting, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and repair doors. -Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts. -Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed -Update work order status in real time -Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary -Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. -Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested -Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. -Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. -Replace lighting and ballasts

Requirements

What You Bring

-2+ years' experience of general maintenance work ranging from plumbing, mechanical, electrical -Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed -Waste Water License -Practice Defensive Driving at all times -Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled -Hold a valid driver's license -Proficiency in using various hand and power tools -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing)
