Designing Electrical and Automation Systems using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical software.
Works closely with the department Electrical & Controls engineers, QC engineer, Panel shop supervisor and Project Design department.
Compare designs to Enerflex and Industry standards.
Assist Electrical and Controls Engineers in panel layout arrangement and component spacing
Building and Cable tray layouts design in 2D and 3D format (Cadworx).
Assist in advancing Enerflex designs, common practices and workflows. Knowledge of Autolisp is an advantage.
Prepare Electrical and Automation BOM and release for purchasing

Requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Office application software.
3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and CADWorx.
Knowledge and experience applying codes and standards such as IEC, ATEX, CSA, CEC, and ISA especially for use in hazardous (classified) areas would be beneficial.
Electrical Heat Trace Design.
Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent post-secondary training.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
