Ability to make decisions and perform as an independent thinker and leader, but also collaborate with project team personnel.
Apply strong AutoCAD Civil 3D, technical writing, data management, organizational, and communication skills to projects and proposals.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil or environmental preferred);
Experience performing construction monitoring and oversight.
Experience independently analyzing and interpreting data regarding site uses and topography to develop stormwater management plans and site-specific best management practices;
Ability and interest in eventually obtaining Professional Engineers license within two to three years;
Experience developing Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans or Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP); and
Experience in performing engineer’s opinion of probable cost estimates;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software;
Proficiency with HydroCAD stormwater modeling/hydrology software;
A strong understanding of local, state, and federal level requirements for a variety of development types including State (MA or RI) stormwater permitting and town/city site plan review applications;
Experience preparing written technical reports; and
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, assemblies, corridors, grading tools, profiles, plan production tools, coordinate systems and earthwork volume calculations;
Experience with the development and implementation of technical plans, designs, and specifications;
Experience with a variety of technical stormwater calculations such as drainage pipe sizing, outlet protection sizing, temporary and permanent stormwater best management practice sizing, and water quality calculations;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
