Marketing & Communications Director – UK

Description

You will work closely with leadership teams across multiple regions, overseeing all UK-facing marketing, digital communications, tender materials, exhibitions, and corporate engagement activities.

• Manage media relations and external communication activities for the UK market.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies, campaigns, and content programs to support EPC/BESS growth.
• Ensure all UK-facing communications align with corporate identity and global messaging standards.
• Oversee UK marketing planning, digital content calendars, and campaign roadmaps.
• Strengthen the organisation’s corporate reputation in key markets.
• Develop strategic tender content, proposals, presentations, and value-driven messaging for EPC and BESS bids.
• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of UK and international exhibitions, conferences, and events.
• Lead the adaptation and implementation of the global brand strategy for the UK market.
• Support pipeline development through high-quality communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead the creation of marketing materials, corporate content, case studies, executive communications, and technical narratives.
• Ensure consistent, accurate, and professional communication across all platforms.
• Manage the UK marketing budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Work closely with business development and engineering teams to create compelling client-facing materials.
• Ensure ESG reporting, sustainability communications, and environmental messaging are consistent with global standards.
• Analyse customer insights, market trends, and competitor activity to guide marketing decisions.
• Act as a key representative for the brand at sector events.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive alignment across global and regional teams.
• Support senior leadership in industry engagements, client meetings, and investor interactions.
• Strengthen the company’s presence within the UK renewable energy sector.
• Contribute to internal communications, culture initiatives, and organisational messaging.
• Manage all UK digital communications, including the website, LinkedIn, social media, and online campaigns.

Requirements

This is a senior, high-visibility role suited to someone with a strong background in global marketing, brand strategy, and cross-functional communication leadership. This role is London based full time in office with frequent travel nationally and internationally at relatively short notice.

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Marketing & Communications Director to lead our UK marketing function and support the integration of our global brand into the UK market. This senior role is responsible for driving brand alignment, delivering high-impact communication strategies, and supporting the wider business as we expand our EPC and BESS operations in the United Kingdom.
