The incumbent will drive excellence in maintenance service programs, manage contract scopes to meet deliverables on time, and oversee comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management with a focus on continuous improvement. Financial and KPI targets established by the Facility Manager must be achieved, aligning with Service Level Agreement expectations.
Key goals include establishing Standard Operating Procedures for soft services and ensuring site compliance, while promptly addressing system shortcomings and operational emergencies. Responsibilities span site operations management—inspecting outsourced services, managing supplies, and supporting 24/7 emergency calls—staff management—developing and mentoring direct reports—and vendor management—monitoring contracts, conducting reviews, and ensuring timely payments. Additional duties cover health and safety compliance, reporting, and initiatives to reduce utility costs and improve energy consumption.

The ideal candidate holds a tertiary qualification in property, building or facilities management and has proven contract administration experience. Strong people skills, expertise in tendering, service improvement, occupational safety, and continuous improvement initiatives are required, along with solid PC literacy for daily activity management. Critical competencies include adherence to KPIs, implementation of best practices, and delivery of cost‑saving initiatives.
