The Assistant Community Manager greets prospects, processes applications, manages leases and renewals, handles rent collections and evictions, and promotes resident satisfaction and property visibility through effective communication and social media. This role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a seamless leasing experience. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential to maintain high occupancy and positive community perception.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, and at least one year of customer service or apartment leasing experience; a background in accounting is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools is required, and a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
The role may require prolonged sitting at a desk, occasional stair climbing, and the ability to read documents and screens, hear verbal communications, and lift items up to 20 pounds. Work is performed on‑site and may involve exposure to the elements, confined spaces, heights, or other potentially hazardous areas.
