- Determine optimal feeds, speeds, and tooling selections for each job
- Inspect finished products and make quality adjustments to meet production standards
- Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turret Lathes according to job specifications
- Operate additional equipment including CNC machines, press brakes, and laser cutters as required
- Maintain a safe work environment with zero accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer delivery deadlines
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments for optimal operation
- Design custom fixtures, tooling, and experimental parts as needed
- Read, interpret, and edit CNC programs (G & M codes) to maximize efficiency
- Perform routine machine maintenance to prevent breakdowns
- Use precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges, etc.) to verify tolerances of .0005" - .005"

- Ability to observe, detect and respond to audible and visual machine malfunction warnings.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English required.

- OSHA-compliant forklift certification preferred

- Ability to read, identify, observe and recognize details, color-coding and fine print at close range on associated engineering drawings.
- Must report to work with the ability to use full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute your job.
- Proficiency in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting

- 2-5+ years of CNC machining experience; VTL operation expertise preferred

- Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes and climb ladders.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Must be capable of standing, bending, and executing repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
