Programme Integration Scheduler

Description

The Programme Scheduler role sits within the Joint Programme Team, where the incumbent will own the integrated programme schedule and ensure alignment with time, cost, and scope objectives. Working closely with project schedulers, delivery agents, and programme leadership, the scheduler will maintain controls, analyse critical paths, and support reporting and risk management. The position demands strong technical planning, proactive problem‑solving, and expert use of Primavera P6 and related tools.

• Support Programme Controls & Integration Manager in establishing scheduling capabilities
• Create and maintain integrated programme schedule using Primavera P6
• Gather accurate progress data from project schedulers and delivery agents
• Conduct critical path analysis and manage dependencies and milestones
• Develop processes and tools for consistent schedule control and reporting
• Perform schedule performance analysis, root‑cause investigations and recommend corrective actions
• Contribute to change and risk management, including QSRA development
• Execute quality checks to ensure best‑practice adherence
• Promote open communication across the Joint Programme Team and customers
• Provide functional leadership for scheduling within the programme
• Support programme governance and controls development

Requirements

• Strong leadership and technical planning ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to generate and present high‑level reports for senior management
• Proactive problem‑solving and continuous improvement mindset
• Expert user of Primavera P6 with deep scheduling knowledge
• Experience delivering major programmes with integrated schedules
• Full‑life‑cycle programme management experience
• Solid understanding of planning, progress monitoring, risk and opportunity management
• Knowledge of delay analysis and change demonstration methods
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Power BI
• Requirement: sole UK national with Security Clearance or ability to obtain
