Develop and manage the project delivery Portfolio, including several simultaneous projects. Identify and plan the scope and resource requirements of new projects and reconcile competing resource demands.
Manage the transition of solutions developed and delivered by projects into business operations, which can be highly complex and will need negotiation and diplomacy when providing guidance and advice to achieve agreement and co-operation for implementation.
Report regularly on performance, risk management and financial control on relevant projects to ensure that problems are resolved, any resulting changes are managed effectively, and clear audit trails recorded.

Undertake a key role within the Procurement activity by leading the work to establish clear Output Based Specifications & Functional Specifications in relation to Information and Records Programmes. This is supported by playing a key role representing in procurements, e.g. Competitive dialogue and ensuring appropriate scoring & evaluation has taken place. All of this will be embraced through a clear understanding and knowledge of the marketplace.

Previous experience of budget management and resource allocation procedures and their application.
Educated to master’s level or equivalent experience.
Extensive knowledge and experience of change management, process change and Informatics and in particular prescribing issues and solutions. This will involve undertaking research and development programmes to inform strategic policy and direction.
Capable of understanding the wider organisation objectives in its context within current National policy and strategic direction.
