Perform all task assignments using required industry standards
Inspect and correct your own work before turning it in

Target candidate may be required to operate and maintain a vacuum excavation truck and related equipment safely and efficiently
Submits accurate time sheets, mileage and expense reports on time each week
Participate in cross - training as requested to build a stronger team
Reviews all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting
Reviews jobsite safety daily and takes immediate action to document and resolve issues
Accurately record and report your work each day on the forms provided
Communicates effectively with client, contractor, staff, and supervisor

Understanding basic traffic control and the hazards associated with working in and around traffic and follow safety precautions
High School Diploma is required.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience.
Proactively resolves problems at the lowest level
Current Commercial Driver’s License is a plus
High School Diploma or GED.
NULCA or other certification is a plus
Must possess leadership and mentoring skills.
A valid current driver’s license and have the ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation is required
This position is similar to a utility locator or utility designator and requires minimum of 2 - 4 years of utility locating or designating using many types of pipe and cable locating devices
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Surveying, CADD, and vacuum excavation truck experience a plus.
Have a basic knowledge of various underground utilities and able to identify surface features associated with various utilities
Ability to follow instructions, possess the ability to be trained, mentored and have a positive can-do attitude are necessities
Mechanical aptitude is desired
Possess the ability to designate/locate a variety of underground utilities, create legible field sketches, simple mathematics, field measurements, document daily activities, and perform records research. Perform other duties as assigned
Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is preferred
Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
Ability to perform some equipment maintenance tasks a plus
Understands OSHA Safety Standards and KCI corporate policies and follows them at all times
