Tasks
-Encourage adoption of emerging technologies and best practices in project controls, reporting, and digital collaboration. -Collaborate with leadership on shaping KKCS’s strategic market positioning and long-term growth plans. -Develop tailored capture strategies to increase win rates and expand market share. -Drive business development by identifying growth opportunities, leading pursuits, and managing agency relationships. -Champion innovation and knowledge-sharing across practice areas. -Represent KKCS in high-level client engagements, industry associations, and strategic planning discussions. -Lead process improvements that promote scalability, technical consistency, and delivery efficiency. -Monitor financial and operational KPIs across portfolios to ensure contract compliance, profitability, and delivery excellence. -Lead execution of high-impact infrastructure projects across rail, transit, and airport sectors. -Provide executive oversight on planning, staffing, and delivery methods to ensure efficient execution and client satisfaction. -Align project performance with company revenue goals, profitability targets, and risk mitigation strategies. -Implement performance management practices that align with KKCS’s values and strategic priorities. -Build, mentor, and scale multidisciplinary teams to support ongoing and future project delivery.

What You Bring
-Experience with project delivery for FTA, FAA, Metro, Amtrak, LAWA, BART, or similar entities -Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels -Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite) -California Professional Engineer (PE) license required; PMP certification preferred -Willingness to travel as needed (approx. 10–15%) -Proven leadership in managing risk, schedule, and cost across multiple projects -Demonstrated success leading delivery of large-scale capital improvement programs with public agencies -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred) -Minimum 15 years of experience in transportation infrastructure, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or executive role
