As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to leverage your drafting skills to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems. The Mechanical Engineer will play a vital role in preparing technical reports, accurately gathering load calculations and projects measurements. - This role may require clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors.
- Complete applications engineering including psychometrics, refrigeration layout/sizing, acoustics, and controls systems layout.
- Proven ability of designing commercial HVAC systems across multiple market segments required.
- Is proficient at performing load calculations and Title 24 a must
- Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) highly preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in HVAC Drafting/Modeling required.
- This role may involve physical activity including walking, standing, and driving while moving around the office.
- Basic understanding of pdf management software, Bluebeam; and drafting software, Revit a plus
- This role may involve working at a desk, computer, or standing for prolonged periods of time.
- 1-5 years of experience in designing commercial HVAC systems or similar role required.
Benefits
This is a full-time exempt position. The compensation for this role is $90,000 - $140,000 annually and is based on experience and skillset.
