This role leads and manages the cost control function across projects, delivering accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to enable informed decisions. The Cost Manager or Senior Cost Manager develops and maintains cost reports, analyzes trends, and supplies actionable insights to project leadership. Success requires strong communication, leadership, and analytical abilities to collaborate with stakeholders, enforce EPC standards, and oversee planning, scheduling, progress measurement, estimate development, and contract commercial terms.
The primary goal is to drive cost discipline on major projects by preserving data integrity, ensuring system accuracy, and supporting contract and commercial analyses that enhance financial performance. The position promotes a cost‑focused mindset, utilizes standardized tools to convey project health, and leverages historical and current trends to steer decision‑making.
