  • Oversee the entire claims lifecycle, from initial notice to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all claims related to elevator issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of claims adjusters and support staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gather documentation, and evaluate the extent of liability and damages based on policy provisions and technical assessments.
  • Ensure all claims handling activities adhere to internal policies, industry standards, and relevant local and national regulatory requirements.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze trends, and prepare reports for management to assess departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance claims processing efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and incorporate best practices and digital tools.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal departments such as underwriting and legal, as well as external partners like insurance brokers and vendors, to resolve complex issues.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Possess or utilize in-depth technical knowledge of elevator and escalator systems to understand the nature of claims, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Working experience of 10-12 years and at least 3 years in the similar Elevator or similar Industry.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in claims management, preferably within elevator industry.
