You will coordinate the team to ensure supplementary planning and feasibility reports are aligned and issued effectively.
You will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality ecological advice, undertaking assessments, surveys, and mitigation strategies, along with collaborating with various clients and planners.
You will contribute to the growth of the ecological service by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and expanding on our current project portfolio.
You would be working alongside a diverse multi-disciplinary project team offering planning and feasibility solutions for a multitude of existing clients.
Our office is based in South Yorkshire, but the role will require national travel.
At least 5 years’ experience in ecological consultancy, with a strong focus on conducting surveys, assessments, preparing a range of ecological reports, and the project management of jobs.
Membership or eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIEEM).
Sound knowledge of UK ecology legislation, guidelines, and best practice.
A full UK driving licence is a necessity.
Experienced in advising clients on Biodiversity Net Gain, understanding and use of the DEFRA Statutory Biodiversity Metric and production of associated reports and plans.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills.
