The Operations Supervisor role oversees activities such as assembling parts, component inspection, paint handling, and quality inspection at a manufacturing site. The incumbent manages a team, ensures safety for themselves and crew, and is responsible for meeting the facility’s PQVC metrics while aiming for zero defects per unit or component.
Key duties include training new team members with hands‑on experience, planning and securing resources for daily operations, and stepping in as a standby for other leads when needed. The supervisor identifies actions to meet PQVC goals, responds to line stoppages, conducts process‑improvement dialogs at cell and section levels, generates continuous‑improvement ideas, participates in rapid improvement workshops, monitors and audits metrics against standard work, assists in creating and training on standard work documentation, and updates metric boards with collected data.
Candidates must hold a diploma in any specialization, have at least five years of relevant experience and a minimum of two years in a team‑leader role. Drawing‑reading skills and proficiency with MS Office are preferred, and relocation assistance is available for this position.
