As Design Manager – BIM, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading design development, driving collaboration across architecture, structure, MEP, and finishes, and ensuring our projects are both buildable and within budget. Your strategic input will influence everything from subcontractor selection to value engineering decisions and design risk mitigation.
You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary Design & Engineering team, interfacing closely with project leaders, consultants, subcontractors, and authority bodies. You’ll ensure all design aspects are aligned with program timelines, budget allowances, and project goals—bringing clarity and excellence to every stage.

- Participate in constructability reviews and lead value engineering workshops
- Evaluate subcontractor design-related claims and variations
- Optimize use of company design resources (software, hardware, team capacity)
- Identify and mitigate design risks across all project phases
- Ensure project design teams work within set budget allowances (e.g., rebar, abortive works recovery)
- Oversee compliance with client briefs and contractual deliverables
- Monitor, review, and report on design progress from consultants and subcontractors
- Lead coordination across all design trades including structure, MEP, finishes, and fit-out
- Manage authority submissions and ensure timely design approvals
- Support procurement teams in RFP and tender clarifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture (Master’s preferred)
- Solid experience in managing design progress, authority approvals, and commercial impacts related to design
- Strong negotiation skills and leadership drive
- Deep understanding of constructability, project timelines, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Resilient under pressure and deadline-driven
- BIM tools: Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC
- Proficiency in:
- 10 years of on-site GCC experience (remote not considered)
- Proactive and solutions-oriented
- Able to foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- 5 years in a Main Contractor, Subcontractor, or Supervision Consultant role
- Minimum 12 years of overall experience, including:
- Design software: AutoCAD, Revizto, Tekla, RGS, ADDA, CADS RC
