

Builds and manages NSW's integrated transport network: roads, rail, ferries, light rail and infrastructure.
In this role, you'll work as part of a team delivering injury and claims management services across Workers Compensation, Recovery at Work, and Health Solutions. This role is pivotal in driving performance improvement, reducing claims costs, and enhancing service delivery across Transport for NSW. You will lead a high‑performing team, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and oversee operational delivery of injury and claims services.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with NSW legislation, developing systems for effective service delivery, and coaching your team to achieve best practice outcomes. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you’ll have the opportunity to shape service models and influence strategic outcomes in a dynamic and regulated environment.
You will drive innovation and build service excellence in a complex, high‑demand environment where legislative compliance, customer expectations, and operational efficiency must be balanced.
Your leadership capability, strategic thinking, and customer‑focused mindset, formed across claims management, health services, and operational leadership roles, will see you navigate complex regulatory frameworks, optimise team performance, and implement systems that drive efficiency and compliance—leading to reduced premiums, improved recovery outcomes, and enhanced client satisfaction.
You're recognised as a decisive leader, skilled at coaching teams, managing service delivery, and building stakeholder trust, and experienced in self‑insurance portfolio management, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will bring at least 10 years of experience in claims and injury management, including specific expertise in leading a self‑insurance portfolio and managing claims and premiums, along with tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
