Perform material testing of soils, aggregates, asphalt concrete and concrete on active construction sites.
Interpret specifications and working drawings.
Conduct field inspection, testing, sampling, and maintain equipment on assigned projects.
Record and organize field data, generate field reports, and document daily installed construction quantities.
Communicate with team members, contractors, and owners’ representatives to keep all parties informed.
Maintain equipment and follow public health and safety requirements and procedures.

DLZ Corporation is looking for entry level individuals willing to work hard and learn new skills. DLZ will provide the necessary training for you to be successful in your role as a Field Technician for projects in Ohio!

High school graduate or equivalent; able to verbally communicate accurate information.
Computer‑savvy with strong attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to lift 50 lb frequently and travel throughout Ohio.
Preferred certifications: ACI Concrete Field Testing; Nuclear Densometer Safety.
