The Quality Supervisor serves as an advocate and leader of quality at Marvin, directing and developing a team responsible for manufacturing windows that meet specifications. This role ensures compliance with all quality requirements and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
In this position you will embed quality into daily work, collaborate with other leaders to pinpoint improvement opportunities, and drive systematic problem‑solving to resolve quality issues. You will train supervisors on quality tools such as ANSI sampling, statistics, and Lean/Six‑Sigma, and handle supervisory duties including hiring, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Partnering with Operations PGM’s, you will monitor, analyze, and publish accurate daily quality data reports while prioritizing work to align with department and operational goals. Additionally, you will coach technicians and uphold a safe, healthy work environment by enforcing standards and regulations.
Success in this role requires proficient leadership that emphasizes service, integrity, humility, and team empowerment, as well as strong communication skills for clear instruction and relationship building. A proactive, customer‑centric mindset and a proven drive for results through process improvement, project management, and root‑cause analysis are essential. Experience with continuous‑improvement methodologies, statistical analysis tools, and technical aptitude for emerging technologies further supports process efficiency.
Candidates should hold an associate’s degree in a technical or business discipline with a focus on quality, manufacturing, or management, or possess comparable practical experience. Proven experience in a Lean/Six‑Sigma manufacturing environment, including data collection, analysis, and use of recognized quality tools such as fishbone diagrams, flowcharts, and software like Minitab, is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also mandatory.
