Ensuring all work is documented clearly and submitted to a high internal standard
Carrying out Retrofit Assessments in line with PAS 2035 requirements
Collaborating with Retrofit Coordinators and Designers to ensure assessments are accurate and actionable
Conducting RdSAP assessments and preparing data for Improvement Option Evaluations
Identifying potential risks, including ventilation, damp, and structural concerns
Collecting data on building fabric, services, occupancy, ventilation, and context
Providing flexible support across the business, such as assisting with surveys, supporting other retrofit roles, or helping improve delivery systems
Keeping up to date with regulatory changes, tools, and industry best practice
Because we’re a close-knit team, you’ll also be expected to support other areas of the business when needed - whether that’s assisting with surveys, submissions, or helping colleagues meet deadlines.
Qualified Retrofit Assessor (with a TrustMark-approved training provider)
Experience in airtightness testing, ventilation testing, or borescope inspections is desirable
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified and detail-oriented Retrofit Assessor to join our growing team. This is your chance to play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, PAS 2035-compliant retrofit projects.
You will also be cross-trained to carry out airtightness testing, Part F ventilation testing, and borescope inspections, which we frequently deliver in conjunction with Retrofit Assessments. Experience in any of these areas is desirable but not essential.
Accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
Qualified in Level 3: Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings ( ideal but not essential )
Familiarity with RdSAP software and data collection tools
Excellent documentation skills and obsessive attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with residents and clients
Applicants must be based within commuting distance of Manchester ( 1 hours ), as the role will primarily involve site work in this area for the next 6–12 months.
Working knowledge of PAS 2035 and whole-house retrofit principles
This is a primarily site-based role, with travel across the country and regular overnight stays expected. You’ll typically be working away Monday to Friday, visiting homes to carry out in-depth assessments. As a company, we set a very high standard for assessments, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
