Description

• Serving as a client-facing project controls professional who assists with tactical and technical advice.
• You will be an advocate of Mace's value of safety first, and be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and project compliance standards.
• Review monthly updates of spend and schedule data to a achieve KPIs.
• You will create and design effective implementations of PMO and project controls framework s and strategies on assigned commissions.
• Being a key interface with client, stakeholders, and other consultants at all project stages.
• Ensuring that post-contract cost variances, change control, cost checking and valuation processes are managed effectively.
• Assessment and evaluation of variations including the ability to negotiate and agree with contractor, including the preparation of full substantiating documentation.
• Undertake the valuation of contractor’s monthly applications including measured works, preliminaries, materials on site, etc.
• You will be developing your expertise in PMO and project controls, with a growing internal and external network (e.g. clients, contractors, consultancies and other stakeholders).

Requirements

• Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
• Professional membership, i.e., MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and moving towards fellowship, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
• Performance reporting including KPI, risk and resource analysis.
• Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
• Direction and management experience of large, diverse teams.
• Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience in EPMO system like unifier or procore.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or related field (MS, MBA preferred)
• Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contractual frameworks relating to construction.
• Experience in the pharma or technology sector or other similar manufacturing.
• Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, along with the ability to assure service delivery and provide meaningful/actionable insights.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
