In addition to standard warehouse duties, the operator will build, plan, and maintain hydraulic hose assemblies, coordinate workflows for emergency and bulk orders, ensure quality and compliance, resolve delivery issues, and drive continuous process improvements. A safety‑conscious mindset, strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment are essential.
The role is for an experienced Warehouse Operator at WesTrac’s Mudgee branch, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The operator will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling, storage, and dispatch of goods, including loading and unloading stock and parts, general housekeeping, stocktaking, ordering parts, and using computer systems for sales and service requirements.
Key qualifications include essential previous warehouse experience, highly desirable experience in a hose workshop with manufacturing and pressure testing, and familiarity with WMS Manhattan scale. Candidates should also demonstrate solid computer proficiency, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, effective time management, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

The position is a Monday‑to‑Friday day shift with rates starting from $34.88 per hour, overtime at $52.32, plus superannuation. Compensation is guided by skills and experience, and candidates must possess a valid driver’s licence and, preferably, an HRW forklift licence.
