Head of Asset Management

Description

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute asset management insights in key business forums.
• Manage the Calibration Laboratory, setting clear priorities and ensuring compliance with all operational and accreditation standards.
• Partner with Compliance, Service Delivery, and Technical teams to maintain fleet compliance across NZ.
• Act as the key liaison with suppliers, subcontractors, service delivery teams, and field service providers on all supply chain matters.
• Own the asset management budget—monitoring performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and addressing variances with clear mitigation plans.
• Ensure warehouse and laboratory sites are safe, well-maintained, and operationally effective.
• Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement by adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
• Lead best-practice Procurement, Warehousing, and Logistics operations across NZ, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant practices.
• Ensure all required accreditations are upheld across asset supply, management, and calibration.
• Oversee asset lifecycle management—from new product introduction to refurbishment, recycling, and slow/obsolete inventory handling.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and data integrity through regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Practical and solutions-focused with experience in asset management, procurement, and logistics
• Minimum 4 years’ experience managing multi-functional team
• Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or related field
