Produce quantity take-offs (QTO), cost estimates, and construction management support for projects in the construction phase.
Performs civil engineering design calculations; develops construction plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software; and prepares construction specifications, feasibility studies, and other technical reports for infrastructure projects.
Works within a team to produce engineering calculations, documentation, and plan sheet production to achieve our client’s goals and objectives while meeting schedules and budget requirements.
Manage budget and hours to develop designs and plans that achieve our client’s goals and objectives while meeting schedule commitments and budget requirements.

Experience or proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

Skilled use of AutoCAD Civil 3D software is strongly preferred but not required for initial hiring. Ongoing training in AutoCAD Civil 3D will be provided on-the-job.
Skilled use with AutoCAD Civil 3D required with training provided.
Four (4) + years of related experience.

Applicants with a wide variety of civil project engineer backgrounds may apply with a background and interest in any of the following project types:
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas or the ability to attain within 12 months.
An undergraduate degree in Civil from an accredited university.
Complex data interpretation skills.
Ability to learn local and state design standards and procedures.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
