As an Apprentice Engineer, you will assist with the operation and maintenance of building systems, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment. You will adjust HVAC components, conduct general repairs, participate in water‑treatment programs, maintain operation logs, and respond promptly to tenant requests while supporting emergency procedures and upholding safety policies.
The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with one year of related experience and preferred trade certifications. Candidates must develop building‑engineering knowledge, possess computer skills for program administration, read technical manuals, safely use power tools, perform basic math, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Physical abilities include lifting 25 lb, climbing stairs or ladders, and working varied shifts, including overtime.
